Player Trading
/kageborne trade is open to every player.
Sending a Request
/kageborne trade <player>sends a request: "Trade request sent to <player>."- The other player sees "<player> wants to trade with you. [Accept] [Decline]" with a sound. Clicking runs
/kageborne trade accept or/kageborne trade decline. - Requests last 60 seconds.
- You can't trade with yourself or with someone who is already trading.
- Declining: "You declined <player>'s trade." / "<player> declined your trade."
The Trade Window
The window is titled "Trade with <player>" and holds:
- Your offer (3 x 3 slots, yours to fill) and theirs (3 x 3, view only).
- Your inventory.
- A Ryo amount box ("Have: N").
- Accept / Stop, and "Cancel Trade".
- Status lines: "Accepted" / "Not yet", "Waiting for them to accept.", and the hint "Put up items and ryo, then accept."
Completing a Trade
- When both sides have accepted, a 5-second countdown runs ("Trading..."), with a ticking sound each second.
- Either side can stop it ("<player> stopped the trade's countdown.").
- Changing anything in either offer cancels both acceptances.
- When the countdown ends, items and ryo swap: "Trade with <player> complete."
- If a side no longer has the ryo they offered, the trade is cancelled ("Trade cancelled: <player> no longer has the ryo they offered.").
Cancelled Trades
The trade is called off, and everything put up goes back, if either side:
- Presses Cancel ("Trade cancelled by <player>.").
- Closes the window ("Trade cancelled: <player> closed the window.").
- Takes any damage or dies ("Trade cancelled: <player> took damage.").
- Leaves ("Trade cancelled: <player> left.").
Items that don't fit back in the owner's inventory drop at their feet.
What Can't Be Traded
Nature release items can't be traded (nor an old bound level-10 DNA gift vial, if you still have one). Everything else can.
