Upcoming Jutsu Trees

Three skill trees are coming in a future update: Senjutsu (Sage Mode), the Rinnegan, and Yin-Yang Release. They already appear greyed on their maps and tabs, but for now they can't be opened, learned or cast, and their DNA (Yin-Yang DNA) can't be injected yet. Here is a preview of what they will hold; details may still change before they arrive.

Senjutsu

13 nodes, 63 JP. "Sage arts: natural energy drawn into the body..., in the way of one of the three great sage lands." Three independent roots at Lv30 (5 JP each, no stat requirement), each with its own branch; a branch's techniques need its own Sage Mode active. Only one Sage Mode can be active at a time, and it shares its slot with the Curse Mark (entering one replaces the other).

  • Entering Sage Mode: hold right click to gather natural energy evenly over a full minute, shown under the crosshair out of 100. The mode starts only if the gathering is at least 99.5% full (about 59.7 s held); otherwise "not enough (N%)" is shown and the chakra for that charge is still spent. A full gather costs 360 chakra.
  • While in Sage Mode (every second):
    • Toad: Strength II, Speed I, Resistance I, Regeneration I.
    • Snake: Strength I, Speed III, Regeneration II, Jump Boost II.
    • Slug: Strength I, Speed I, Resistance II, Regeneration III.
  • It has no timer: it drains 40 chakra per second and lasts until you are chakra-exhausted, die, or recast it (a free dismiss). Ending gives Slowness I for 6 s.
  • Toad (Mount Myoboku, "power and senses"): Frog Kumite (Lv31, Tai 8; right click toggles +3.5 reach, +8 attack damage, +2.5 knockback while in Toad mode); Sensory Perception (Lv34; a toggle marking every enemy within 64 blocks through walls and tracing incoming projectiles); Frog Song (Lv38; a 55-degree cone wave: paralysis, nausea, Slowness IV, darkness); Sage Art: Odama Rasengan (Lv41; a huge hand Rasengan, lunge, 62.5); Sage Art: Giant Rasengan (Lv50; slammed down 3.6 blocks ahead, pulling then blasting radius 8.5 for 72.5); Sage Art: Rasenshuriken (Lv58; the Rasenshuriken with a 200 ceiling, always full).
  • Snake (Ryuchi Cave, "speed and serpents"): Summoning: Snakes of Ryuchi Cave (Lv36; three 200-health snakes for 60 s whose bites poison and bind); Eight Branches Technique (Lv60; you become Yamata, an eight-headed serpent you ride: 6,000 health, bites of 225 with Poison III, a tail lash and a radius-13 slam; 60 s; 180 s cooldown).
  • Slug (Shikkotsu Forest, "healing and acid"): Massive Regeneration Aura (Lv40, Med 15; a toggle pulsing every 2 s for 60 chakra, healing you and every ally within 20 blocks by 6% of max health, at least 2, and feeding players); Acid Sludge Blast (Lv45; an acid projectile that corrodes armour, leaving an acid mist for 16 s; ceiling 65).
  • The sage techniques have a charge cap of 5; the Sage Modes themselves 10.

Rinnegan

Lv55, needs both the Sharingan and Wood Release roots; 56 JP. Its eye toggle has an upkeep of 30 chakra per second and sees through walls to 48 blocks.

  • Bansho Ten'in: pull.
  • Shinra Tensei: push, radius 12, destroys projectiles.
  • Preta Path: absorb jutsu.
  • Human Path: soul pull: 130 Erase, -800 chakra.
  • Asura Path: 8 homing missiles.
  • Chibaku Tensei: tears real terrain into a moon of radius 16 to 48 that hangs up to 90 s and drops on recast, smashing a crater. The torn ground and the crater are put back a few minutes after the moon falls.
  • Planetary Shinra Tensei.

Yin-Yang Release

"Spirit and body joined: the power to give form and life." A root plus one technique:

  • Truth-Seeker Balls (Lv88, Ninjutsu 35, 14,400 chakra, 168 s cooldown): for 30 s all jutsu damage to you is cancelled and other damage halved; 9 orbs orbit you and fire one every second at the nearest enemy within 18 blocks for 90 Erase (ignores armour).
