Armour Sets
What There Is
Kageborne has 150 armour sets, 892 pieces in all. Each set has four pieces (head, torso, legs and feet) and comes in one to four rarities; each rarity of each piece is its own item.
- Village sets, for each of the six villages: Academy Student, Genin, Chunin, Jonin and Allied Shinobi Forces (the Rain's is the Ame Resistance Set), plus each village's Medical Corps Set.
- Organisation and clan sets: Konoha ANBU Black Ops, Root, Kiri Hunter-nin, Konoha Military Police, Uchiha Clan Garb, Hyuga Clan Robes, Otogakure Shinobi, the Sound Four, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and the Samurai of the Land of Iron.
- Lore and character sets (104 of them): Naruto's and Sasuke's outfits through the series, the Konoha 11 and their senseis, the Kage robes and each Kage's own set, Senju and Uchiha warrior armour, the Akatsuki and its members, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Danzo, heroes of the other villages, and the Otsutsuki and Six Paths sets.
Rarities, with the colour of the name: Common (white), Uncommon (green), Rare (blue), Epic (purple), Legendary (gold) and Mythical (shimmering red).
Stats
- Armour points per piece (head / torso / legs / feet): Common 1/2/2/1; Uncommon 1/3/2/1; Rare 2/4/3/1; Epic 2/5/4/2; Legendary 3/6/5/2; Mythical 3/8/6/3. Toughness per piece: 1 at Epic, 2 at Legendary, 3 at Mythical, none below.
- Durability and enchantability rise with rarity. Repaired with leather.
- Every piece also has its own stats:
- Max health, most on the torso. It adds on top of the Medical stat's 500 cap. A full set gives about 5-12 at Common, 30-60 at Rare, 110-180 at Legendary and up to 200 at Mythical.
- Max chakra, most on the head and torso. A full set gives about 600-1,500 at Common, 4,500-7,000 at Rare, 8,000-20,000 at Legendary and up to 30,000 at Mythical.
- Speed (legs and feet): from 1-2% for a Common set up to 15% for the best.
- Extra double jumps (feet only): 1-2 on Legendary and Mythical feet, 1 on a few Epic ones. They work with any other pieces.
Set Bonuses
- Wear all four pieces of one set at the same rarity to turn on its set bonus. Higher rarities have bigger bonuses; most Common sets have none. A few pieces also have a bonus of their own that works whenever you wear them (such as no fall damage).
- Bonuses include: damage reduction (all reductions together are capped at 60%), chakra regeneration, more damage overall, more ninjutsu, taijutsu or element damage, cheaper, longer-lasting or stronger versions of particular jutsu, shorter jutsu cooldowns, stronger healing, a healing aura for nearby allies, health regeneration, less damage while two or more allies are near, less projectile or fall damage, a chance to dodge attacks entirely, extra damage against Zetsu and reanimated foes, rogue ninja, players who belong to a village, or anyone wearing a rival clan's sets, more sword or thrown-weapon damage, stronger sneak attacks, melee hits that restore chakra or poison, stealth while sneaking, immunity to Slowness, poison, cold or knockback, water breathing, extra melee reach, and Hidan's immortality (lethal damage leaves you on 1 health for 10 seconds, once every 2 minutes).
- The tooltip shows the rarity and slot, how many pieces of the set you are wearing (for example 3/4), the piece's stats and the set bonus, which turns green once the full set is on. Hold Shift for the design note.
- Each piece has its own look: hoods, masks, cloaks, plates, skirts and more. Some have small effects, such as a chakra shimmer around Epic gear while you sneak, rain running off a Rain poncho, auras, flames, sand, petals, ink or feathers.
Where Armour Comes From
- Boss trials: every boss trial's reward chest can hold one armour piece from a shared pool of every set, Common to Epic. Harder (higher-level) trials give armour more often, and of better rarity.
- Legendary armour comes from the 9 themed trials. Their reward chests sometimes hold one of the trial's legendary pieces, and the trial's own pity tokens buy any of them from its pity trader, 10 tokens a piece:
- Trial of the Akatsuki Hideout: Akatsuki Cloak, Kakuzu, Hidan, Deidara, Sasori, Kisame, Itachi's Akatsuki, Tobi, and Sasuke's Akatsuki Cloak (Taka).
- Trial of the Rain Tower: Pain (Deva Path), Konan, Nagato's Rinnegan and Hanzo's Salamander.
- Trial of the Reanimated Hokage: the Second, Third, Fifth and Sixth Hokage's sets.
- Trial of the Kage Summit: the Fifth Kazekage (Gaara), Fourth Kazekage (Rasa), Fourth Raikage (A), Fifth Mizukage (Mei), Sixth Mizukage (Chojuro), Third Tsuchikage (Onoki), the Samurai of the Land of Iron and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.
- Trial of the Uchiha Hideout: Izuna Uchiha, Shisui's Body Flicker, Sasuke's Great War Outfit and Itachi's ANBU.
- Trial of the Snake's Den: Orochimaru's Sannin, Kabuto's Sage Mode and Sasuke's Hebi Outfit.
- Trial of the Root: Konoha ANBU Black Ops, Kakashi's ANBU and Danzo.
- Trial of the Island Turtle: Naruto's Sage Mode, Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Kurama Link Mode, Jiraiya's Toad Sage, Killer Bee's Eight-Tails and Kushina's Red Habanero.
- Trial of the Training Grounds: Neji's Shippuden, Sakura's Hundred Healings and Might Guy's Green Beast.
- Mythical armour can't be earned in survival; only the server's staff can hand it out.
- Armour can also be traded with other players.
