Honor and Respect

Honor

Honor belongs to each player. It starts at 100 and always stays between -1000 and +1000. It is shown on the Village page in green at 100 or more, white from 0 to 99 and red below 0.

Every way honor changes:

  • Leaving your village: -20.
  • Killing a vanilla Villager: -5 (for any player, rogue or not).
  • The following apply only when the killer is a player who belongs to a village and the victim is a ninja (any player, or any Kageborne shinobi NPC). Kills by your jutsu, clones and summons count as yours.
    • Victim from your own village: -25 for a player, -15 for an NPC (for example a roaming Genin of your own village, or a Konoha shinobi NPC if you are Leaf).
    • Victim from an allied village: -10.
    • Victim from any other village (at war with you or neutral): +5. This includes other villages' roaming ninjas (Genin, Jonin or ANBU): a Leaf player who wipes out a Sand roaming squad gains +5 per ninja.
    • Victim with no village: +3. This covers rogue players, Akatsuki members, rogue ninja NPCs, outlaws (bandits, pirates and every other mission foe) and mission civilians.
  • A rogue player gains or loses no honor from ninja kills; only the Villager penalty applies to them.
  • Honor does not regenerate over time.

Respect

  • Each village has Respect, starting at 1000 and kept between 0 and 2000. The Village page draws it as a bar out of 2000; the number shows green at 1000 or more, yellow at 500 or more and red below 500.
  • Every time one of the village's ninjas dies (from any cause, with or without a killer), the village loses 10 respect for a player member or 5 for one of its NPCs (Konoha shinobi for the Leaf, roaming ninjas for their own village).
  • Recovery: every 5 minutes, a village below 1000 regains 1 respect. Respect falls with losses and slowly climbs back to 1000.
