Village Ranks and Leadership

Ninja Rank on the Village Page

• Your rank is one of: Academy Student, Genin, Chunin, Jonin or Elite Jonin, plus the offices Village Advisor and Kage, or Rogue Ninja if you have no village.
• You are an Academy Student until you pass the Genin Exam, which opens from level 10.
• Chunin, Jonin and Elite Jonin are never reached by level alone: they are granted by the server's staff.
• Holding an office replaces the rank shown (a Kage shows as "Kage", an advisor as "Village Advisor"), but mission access always uses your underlying ninja rank.

The Kage Seat and the Advisors

• A village's player Kage and its advisors are appointed by the server's staff. There is no election or in-game claim to the seat.
• Making someone Kage removes them from the advisors; making the Kage an advisor empties the Kage seat.
• In game, the Kage or an advisor can step down with the "Step Down" button on the Village page. The village is told "<name> has stepped down. The Kage's seat is vacant." or "<name> has stepped down as a village advisor."
• Powers:
• Kage: invite rogues, declare war, make peace, offer and accept alliances, and break alliances.
• Advisors: invite rogues.
• The player Kage is separate from the village's Kage NPC: the player Kage handles diplomacy, while the NPC hands out missions.
