The field is scarred by Human Bullet Tank runs: long furrows of churned earth, shallow craters with rubble lips, giant boulders pushed up against the cliff foot. Round the edge: the clan's feasting pavilion on a raised terrace to the north (red pillars, a dark tiled roof, long tables with barbecue grills, sake barrels and rice bales), two stone panels inlaid with the butterfly of Choji's chakra wings to the east and west, red Akimichi banners on tall poles, stone lanterns, training stumps, and a red gate over the party's arrival plaza to the south, a butterfly laid in its paving.

- Boss prize: Might Guy's Approval, and nothing else. Guy gives it only rarely: most clears end with his grin and a thumbs-up, and no chest at all ("Might Guy gives you a grin and a thumbs-up for your youth... but not his approval. Train harder and come back!"). When he does approve, your chest holds the token alone. No armour, DNA, boss tokens, fragments or ryo come from this trial, and it has no pity token.
- Why do it: the 8 Gates node of the Taijutsu tab needs Might Guy's Approval (and 25 taijutsu points); the token is used up when you learn it.
- The place: Guy's training dungeon. A covered dojo yard with rope-wrapped training posts, sandbags, weights and a painted sparring ring; an endurance hall with a painted running track, roped boulders, a giant barbell and tyres; the hall of the gates, eight great gate frames growing taller one by one and turning from green to crimson, the eighth on crying obsidian with red steam beside it. Guy waits in his arena: an inlaid lotus in the gate colours on the floor, and the far wall painted as a sunset over the sea above a sand beach, with waves breaking over the rocks.
