Shinobi Menu: Jutsu, Clan and DNA

Jutsu Page

Jutsu and skill trees are covered in full on their own pages. In summary:

  • There is one sub-tab per top-level skill tree: Nature Release, Kekkei Genkai, Dojutsu, Hidden, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Kenjutsu, Medical, Senjutsu, Curse Mark, Summoning and Tailed Beasts.
  • Map-style tabs (such as Nature Release) show natures you click into to open their own trees ("Right-click or Backspace to go back").
  • Trees are webs of hexagonal seals linked to what they build on. Drag to move and scroll to zoom.
  • A node can be learned (glowing), available (pulsing outline), reachable but missing something, or locked (padlock).
  • Selecting a node shows the jutsu: its rank ("C-rank · Fire"), chakra cost, hand signs, cooldown, strong against / weak to, maximum damage, and "Requires": Level N, stat minimums, prerequisite jutsu, clan, items (used up) and JP cost, each ticked when met.
  • The button reads "Learn", or names the first missing thing (for example "Needs level 20").
  • A learned, castable jutsu can be put into one of the 6 loadout slots from its details (click again to take it out).
  • Its hand signs can be practised with "Practise", and the Practise Hand Signs key replays the last one practised.
  • Natures (the root of each nature tree) can't be learned here: they are awakened by DNA. Summoning is awakened by signing a contract, and a clan's bloodline wakes by itself in battle (from level 25).
  • Yin-Yang Release, Senjutsu and the Rinnegan are coming in a future update; their trees appear greyed out and can't be opened.
  • Reroll Natural Nature (on the Nature Release map): spend a Natural Nature Release Reroll Token to swap the basic nature that awakened in you at level 10 (your "Natural nature") for a basic nature you don't have. You lose the old nature's whole tree and its release, and get back the Jutsu Points it cost. Natures you got from DNA are never touched. A wheel spins before your new nature is shown.

Clan Page

  • Before level 10: a padlock, "Unknown", and "Your clan is a mystery for now. Reach level 10 to discover your bloodline."
  • After level 10:
    • Lineage: the clan's emblem (gently swaying), name and colour, with its "Clan bonuses".
    • History: the clan's description on aged paper.
    • Clan Reroll: spend a Clan Reroll Token to be reborn into a different clan. Press "Reroll Clan", then click again to confirm. Your bloodline and everything it gave you are taken away (you get its Jutsu Points back), and the new clan's bonuses replace the old. If your bloodline had awakened, the new one awakens at once. Eyes from jars and natures from DNA are kept. A wheel spins before your new clan is revealed. No token? "Bosses drop them, or buy one in the store."

DNA Page

Identify DNA:

  • Shows your Unidentified DNA samples, your "Chance to identify" (raised by Intelligence, up to its cap at 28 Intelligence; if identification fails, the sample breaks down and is lost) and an Identify button.
  • A 1.4-second analysis plays, then either "Identified: <nature> DNA" (the DNA item is added to your inventory) or "The sample broke down. It's lost."
  • Basic natures turn up most often from an identified sample; kekkei genkai are rare.

Your DNA:

  • A scrolling list of every nature: in colour if awakened ("Nature awakened"), greyed with a padlock if not, and amber if you hold some of its DNA ("Have it injected to awaken").

Village Page

Villages are covered on their own pages. The Village page holds:

  • Your Standing: your village, rank, honor and money, Leave Village (with a confirming second click), and Step Down for a Kage or advisor.
  • Your Village: the Kage, advisors, Village Respect, Resources, Tax Rate and shinobi count.
  • Diplomacy: who you are at war with, your allies, your enemies and every village, plus the Kage's War / Peace / Ally buttons.
  • Invite a Rogue Ninja: for Kage and advisors, with a search of online rogue ninjas.
  • The Bingo Book: ninjas who abandoned their villages.
