The Byakugan and Gentle Fist

The Byakugan has an upkeep of 6 chakra a second, sees through walls up to 56 blocks (the farthest of any eye), shows chakra bars (chakra only) and gives night vision. Its techniques centre on the Hyuga's Gentle Fist.

Gentle Fist

Rank: D. Cost: 90 chakra. Cooldown: 1.8 seconds. Hand signs: 2.
A stance switched on and off with the Byakugan open.
While on, every bare-handed melee blow lands 80% harder (x1.8), you have Strength I, and it drains 8 chakra a second.
It ends when the Byakugan closes or chakra runs out, and the Strength is removed.
Messages appear in aqua and grey, with beacon sounds on and off.

Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm

Rank: C. Cost: 280 chakra. Cooldown: 6.0 seconds. Hand signs: 2.
A palm thrust that fires an air bullet (size 1.4, travelling about 33 blocks a second for up to 1.35 seconds, hit radius 0.8).
Deals 11 wind damage and a strong push (2.8).

Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation

Rank: B. Cost: 920 chakra to start, then 300 chakra a second. Cooldown: 12.2 seconds, counted from when the spin stops. Hand signs: none.
Held, like Amaterasu: select it and hold right click (Byakugan open). You wind up into the spin (0.4 seconds), keep spinning as long as you hold and have chakra, and run down to a stop when you let go. A quick tap still gives a short spin.
Your body really turns (everyone sees you spin); your camera doesn't. You stay planted on the spot while spinning.
While the dome is up you have Resistance III, and anything shot or thrown at you, and all nature-release jutsu damage, fizzles against the spinning chakra and is cancelled.
Every projectile that isn't yours within about 4 blocks is destroyed, as are enemy jutsu projectiles.
Every 0.4 seconds, everything within 3.8 blocks takes wind damage and is pushed out.
It stops by itself if your chakra runs out or the Byakugan closes.

Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms

Rank: A. Cost: 5,000 chakra. Cooldown: 60 seconds. Hand signs: 5.
Needs a target within 6.5 blocks. A yin-yang trigram field (5.5 blocks across from you) opens on the ground around you.
Everyone hostile inside the field is held fast for the whole technique (about 3.3 seconds): they can't walk, jump or cast jutsu, and anything that moves them puts them back. The only way out is the Substitution Jutsu.
You take the Hyuga stance, lunge in front of your target, and strike in doubling counts called out on screen: Two Palms, Four, Eight, Sixteen, Thirty-Two, Sixty-Four. Every one held in the field takes every palm: small pierce damage each (ignoring invulnerability frames), and a player loses a little chakra with each.
The last palm, both hands at once, seals the chakra points: Chakra Drain II for 13 seconds, Weakness II for 13 seconds, Slowness II for 6.5 seconds, and a player loses 600 chakra outright. Then everyone held is sent flying back.
You have your own full-body animation for it, seen by everyone.

Rank: S. Cost: 5,400 chakra. Cooldown: 42 seconds. Hand signs: 6.
A wall of compressed air as wide as the field: everything in a cone 18 blocks long and 50 degrees wide takes 18 wind damage and is thrown back hard (push 3.8).
A gust area grows to 16 blocks across.
