Genin Exam Grounds
The exam takes place on its own grounds in the Trials dimension, far from all the trials. The grounds are 130 x 50 x 130 blocks.
The Look
- To the north stands the Academy's written-test hall, a timber-framed plaster building under a green gabled roof, holding a tiered classroom of long desks facing the proctor's platform and a great blackboard.
- A covered walkway runs from the hall's door to a tunnel under the stands into the exam stadium: an open-sky bowl with a dirt-and-sand fighting floor (rocks and trees at its edge), a sheer stone inner wall, eight rings of tiered spectator stands, and a tall banded outer wall flying green banners.
- The Kage's viewing box sits at the west end, and towering behind it is a pair of giant stone hands making the Ram seal.
- The hall has 80 seats and the stands 32.
Ground Rules
- Each candidate's return point (where they stood when the exam began) is saved, and at the end they are sent back there.
- During the exam, anyone who leaves the grounds is pulled back: to the arena entry if they're fighting in the survival phase, otherwise to the stands.
- Anyone who logs out or leaves the dimension is out of the exam.
