Village Diplomacy
All diplomacy happens between villages and is led by the Kage from the "Other villages" list on the Village page. Each other village shows its badge, its Kage's name (or that it has no Kage) and its member count, with the Kage's buttons beneath it.
War and Peace
- War: the Kage presses "War" on another village. Both villages are now at war with each other, and any alliance or pending alliance offer between them is cancelled. Every online member of both villages sees "The <A> has declared war on the <B>!"
- Peace: on a village you are at war with, the button reads "Peace". Pressing it ends the war for both sides: "The <A> and the <B> have made peace."
Alliances
- Alliances need both Kages. The first Kage presses "Ally": an offer is recorded, the other village's online members see "The <A> offers your village an alliance. Your Kage can accept it in the Village tab." and the offering Kage sees "Alliance offered to the <B>." The button shows "Offered" while the offer is pending.
- On the other side, the row shows "offers an alliance" and its Kage gets an "Accept Alliance" button. Accepting makes both villages allies: "The <A> and the <B> are now allies."
- You cannot ally a village you are at war with.
- Break: the Kage of an allied village presses "Break": "The alliance between the <A> and the <B> is broken." This also clears any offers.
- Alliances change the honor you earn from kills (see Honor and Respect), and allied players are never picked as your bounty-hunt targets.
Enemies
Enemies are not declared; they are earned. Each village counts how many of its ninjas each other village's players have killed lately. When that count reaches 10 kills, the killer village is listed as an Enemy on the victim village's page. The count fades: every 20 minutes of server time, each count drops by 1.
A village's ninjas, for this count, are its member players, Konoha shinobi NPCs (who count as the Leaf) and roaming village ninjas (who count for their own village).
War and Enemy status are shown on the Village page and announced to the villages involved.
