The Eye Evolution Wheel

The Eye Evolution Wheel is how you switch between your eyes and Sharingan stages.

Opening the Wheel

  • Default key: N ("Eye Evolution Wheel (hold)"). It only opens if you have at least one eye stage.
  • A ring of stone segments (at least 8) appears around the screen centre. The world stays visible: there is no dimming and no pause.
  • Above the ring: "Evolutions", the stages unlocked out of either your number of stages or 10, whichever is greater. Below it: the name of the segment under the mouse.

The Segments

In evolution order:

  • No Eyes (closes the eyes).
  • Sharingan (1 Tomoe), Sharingan (2 Tomoe) and Sharingan (3 Tomoe), as far as your Sharingan has grown.
  • Every other eye you have learned: each Mangekyo and the Byakugan.

Choosing

  • Pick with the mouse or the scroll wheel (scrolling takes priority until the mouse moves again).
  • Letting go of N chooses the segment under the mouse. Clicking also chooses.
  • The centre button is Close. The eyes close only when the centre is clicked; letting go of N over the centre closes the wheel without touching your eyes, so an open eye is never shut by accident.
  • Choosing a Sharingan tomoe stage sets the tomoe shown (1, 2 or 3) and opens the Sharingan (or re-flares it if it's already open). Choosing another eye switches to it.

Page 2: Eyes

A page button sits under the wheel ("Page 1/2", "Page 2/2"). Page 2, titled "Eyes", holds six purely cosmetic face choices:

  • Both Eyes Open (Your Skin)
  • Left Eye Closed
  • Right Eye Closed
  • Both Eyes Open (Base Eyes)
  • Left Eye Closed (Base Eyes)
  • Right Eye Closed (Base Eyes)

"Base Eyes" draws the mod's plain black base eyes instead of your skin's own. Shutting an eye only changes how the face is drawn; it doesn't change which eye casts.

Stepping the Sharingan

Two keys step your Sharingan one stage at a time without opening the wheel:

  • Sharingan Stage Up (default Up arrow) and Sharingan Stage Down (default Down arrow).
  • They walk the same order as the wheel: closed eyes, then each tomoe you have, then each Mangekyo you have.
  • Up from closed eyes (or from another open dojutsu, such as the Byakugan) opens the first tomoe. Down from the first tomoe closes your eyes.
  • At the top of the line (your last Mangekyo, or 3 tomoe if you have no Mangekyo), Up does nothing.
  • The Byakugan isn't on this line: switch to it with the wheel.

Other Eye Keys

Defaults, all rebindable in the Controls tab of the Shinobi Menu:

  • Up arrow / Down arrow: Sharingan Stage Up / Down (above).
  • K: Sharingan Lock-On (toggle).
  • I: Cast Copied Jutsu (the jutsu stored by Sharingan: Copy & Store Jutsu).
  • Y: Stage Up (Susanoo, 8 Gates, Tailed Beast).
  • H: Stage Down (Susanoo, Tailed Beast).
  • B: Tailed Beast Mode.
