Village Service NPCS
Stationary NPCS
The Kage, Medical Ninjas, Chakra Engineers, the Ninja Scientist, the Ramen Guy and the pity traders are stationary:
- They stand exactly where they were placed. They are held at that spot at all times, so knockback, pulls, pushes, jutsu or falling never move them, and they cannot be pushed.
- They cannot be harmed.
- They look at nearby players (within 8 blocks) and around them, and never fight, wander or despawn.
- Other NPCs never target them.
- They are placed by server staff. A pity trader comes with its trial's shrine, standing on the top step behind the altar.
Kage NPCS
- Right-click to open the Mission Board, if you belong to that Kage's village (anyone else is turned away).
- The Kage of each village: Leaf - Tsunade; Sand - Gaara; Mist - Mei Terumi; Cloud - A (Fourth Raikage); Stone - Onoki; Rain - Pain. The Sound's Orochimaru arrives in a future update.
Medical Ninja
Right-click a village's medical ninja to open their window, tinted in their village's colour. Stay within 8 blocks while using it. Any player may use any village's medic. Services are paid in ryo:
- Full Heal: restores full health, fully mends every body-part injury, puts out fire and removes every harmful effect except Amaterasu's black flames ("which nothing puts out").
- Price: 50 ryo base, plus up to 250 more for missing health (in proportion to how much is missing: half your health gone adds 125, rounded up), plus 40 per injured body part (yellow or worse).
- Unavailable when there is nothing to heal ("healthy").
- Cure Ailments: removes harmful effects (again except black flames) and fire. Price: 60 ryo. Only available when you have something to cure.
- Supplies:
- Bandage x1: 75 ryo
- Bandage x10: 600 ryo
- Golden Apple x1: 900 ryo
- Honey Bottle x1: 60 ryo
- Chakra Pill x1: 400 ryo
- Gold Chakra Pill x1: 2,000 ryo
- Bought items go into your inventory, or drop at your feet if it is full (only you can pick them up).
- Without enough ryo, the medic tells you so and you hear a villager "no" sound.
Chakra Engineer
Right-click to open the lab window (stay within 8 blocks). There is one engineer per village, and they make DNA free of charge:
- 10 chakra fragments of one nature make 1 vial of that nature's DNA (fire, wind, lightning, earth or water). Fragments are taken from anywhere in your inventory. With too few: "You need 10 fragments of that nature."
- 10 pity tokens of one boss trial make that boss's DNA (see DNA and Chakra Fragments).
Ninja Scientist
Right-click to open the lab window (stay within 8 blocks). The Ninja Scientist injects a DNA vial you carry, for ryo.
- The vial is used up and the nature (or eye) awakens: its skill tree's first node is learned free, you receive its release item, and you get a title, particles and the nature's advancement.
- Prices (also shown on each vial's tooltip as "Injection: <price> ryo"):
- Basic nature: 7,500 ryo.
- Spirit natures (Yin, Yang, Yin-Yang): 10,000 ryo.
- Kekkei genkai (including hiden releases): 15,000 ryo.
- Kekkei tota (Dust): 30,000 ryo.
- Sharingan or Byakugan DNA: 22,500 ryo.
- The scientist refuses, at no charge, if the nature is already awakened, not available yet, or the DNA is unidentified. Without enough ryo you are told the price and what you have. If the injection fails at the last moment, your ryo is refunded.
Ramen Guy
A shopkeeper in a white apron and bandana, placed by server staff (he doesn't spawn naturally). He is passive and stationary like the other service NPCs: he stays exactly where he's put, never fights and can't be harmed.
Right-click him (stay within 8 blocks) to open his shop, "Ramen and snacks, fresh and hot". It has no services, only food for ryo. Everything stacks to 16:
- Ramen: 120 ryo. Restores 10 hunger (5 drumsticks), very filling, and gives Regeneration I for 5 seconds.
- Dango: 60 ryo. Restores 6 hunger, eaten quickly.
- Potato Chips: 45 ryo. Restores 4 hunger, eaten quickly.
- Twin Popsicles: 45 ryo. Restores 3 hunger, eaten quickly, edible even when you're full, and gives Speed I for 20 seconds.
Bought food goes into your inventory (or drops at your feet if it's full).
Pity Traders
Each of the 9 themed armour trials has its own pity trader standing on its shrine:
- Akatsuki Quartermaster: Trial of the Akatsuki Hideout.
- Amegakure Armorer: Trial of the Rain Tower.
- Keeper of the Tombs: Trial of the Reanimated Hokage.
- Iron Armorsmith: Trial of the Kage Summit.
- Uchiha Curator: Trial of the Uchiha Hideout.
- Otogakure Outfitter: Trial of the Snake's Den.
- Root Supplier: Trial of the Root.
- Island Turtle Hermit: Trial of the Island Turtle.
- Konoha Outfitter: Trial of the Training Grounds.
Like the other service NPCs they stay where they are, never fight and can't be harmed.
- Right-click one (stay within 8 blocks) to open the Pity Trader window. It lists every legendary armour piece of that trial's sets, set by set, and shows how many of the trial's pity tokens you carry.
- Pick a piece, then press Buy. Price: 10 of that trial's own pity tokens per piece. Tokens from another trial don't count.
- Without enough tokens: "You need 10 of this trial's pity tokens." The piece you buy goes into your inventory, or drops at your feet if it's full (only you can pick it up).
- Which sets each trader sells is listed under Armour Sets.
