Player Commands

Everything players normally need (squads, missions, villages, skills, the reward chests and the trial altars) is done through the Shinobi Menu, NPCs and right-clicks rather than commands. The few commands every player can type are below; the trade and exam ones are also what the clickable chat buttons for trades and the exam run for you.

  • /kageborne trade (and its accept and decline)
  • /kageborne exam join, /kageborne exam leave and /kageborne exam answer
  • /kageborne warp <village> (your own village only)
  • /kageborne spawn

Some things are in the hands of your server's staff rather than a command you can run: setting up shrines, promoting shinobi to Chunin, Jonin and Elite Jonin (Genin is earned by passing the hourly Genin Exam), setting village warp points, and starting server-wide XP boosts (1.5x or 2.5x, for 30 minutes or an hour). When a boost runs, everyone is told when it starts, 5 minutes before it ends and when it ends, and a corner badge shows it while it lasts.

/kageborne Trade

  • /kageborne trade <player>: asks that player to trade. You see "Trade request sent to <player>."; they see "<you> wants to trade with you." in gold with a green [Accept] button and a red [Decline] button, and hear an orb sound. The request lasts 60 seconds. You can't trade with yourself, or while either of you is already in a trade.
  • /kageborne trade accept: accepts the request made to you and opens the trade screen for both players.
  • /kageborne trade decline: turns it down (the asker is told).
  • Nature release items and the bound DNA of a player's first nature can't be put up for trade. The trade screen itself is covered on the trading page.

/kageborne Exam

  • /kageborne exam join: sign up for the Genin Exam while sign-up is open.
  • /kageborne exam leave: withdraw during sign-up.
  • /kageborne exam answer <n>: answer the current written-test question (0 to 3 for A to D). Only your first answer counts, and only while you're a candidate in the written phase. Normally you run it by clicking an answer.

/kageborne Warp and /kageborne Spawn

  • /kageborne warp <village>: teleports you to your village's warp point (leaf, sand, mist, cloud, stone or rain). Only shinobi of that village can use it: "Only shinobi of the <village> can warp there." If it hasn't been set up yet: "The <village> warp hasn't been set yet."
  • /kageborne spawn: teleports you to the server spawn ("Teleported to spawn.").
  • Neither works from inside a trial or Kamui: "You can't warp out of here."

Character Wipes

Server staff can wipe a character completely, giving that player a fresh start as if they had never played. If it happens to you, you read "You were wiped by an operator: you start again as a new shinobi." and:

  • You are taken out of any mission, trial, Genin Exam or squad. If you were in a boss trial, that trial ends for your whole party.
  • You are back to level 1, with no clan, jutsu, stats, natures, eyes, tailed beast, village, ryo, honor, mission record, bingo book entry or Kageborne advancements.
  • Your inventory, armour and ender chest are emptied, so any pity tokens, DNA or armor you carried are gone too.
  • Everything the mod remembered about you is cleared as well, including your trial waits and which Genin Exam stages have already paid you, so the exam pays its ryo again.
  • You are sent to the world spawn with no bed set.
  • Then you get the first join again: the starter kit, the Shinobi Handbook, and the village picker after it.
