Yin and Yang Release

Yin Release

Nature Release map; 2 nodes, 3 JP. "The spiritual energy of the mind and imagination: the root of genjutsu." Awakened by Yin DNA (also the Yamanaka trial's boss DNA).

  • Genjutsu: Tree Binding (Lv24; target within 24): binds (players 2 s, mobs 6 s), with Blindness and Nausea. No damage.
  • Yin is also shown as one half of Blaze and Dark Release on the Kekkei Genkai map.

Yang Release

Nature Release map; 4 nodes, 9 JP. "The physical energy of life and vitality: the root of medical ninjutsu." The Akimichi-style body arts.

  • Expansion Technique (Lv14): a toggle for 60 s: you grow to three times your size (eased in over about 1.5 s), max health x2 (current health doubled), +6 attack damage, +3 reach, +0.8 knockback resistance, Strength III, and bare-hand taijutsu x1.5. Ending halves your health (minimum 1).
  • Human Bullet Tank (Lv25): expands you if you aren't already, then you roll as a boulder for 15 s at 18 blocks per second, steered by your look, hitting each target at most every 0.5 s for 65 Force with big knockback; no fall damage.
  • Butterfly Wings (Lv40, Tai 12, S-rank, 2,400 chakra, 60 s cooldown; needs Expansion active): 5 minutes of Expansion and Strength III with flight, and bare-hand taijutsu x2.0. Recasting folds the wings (Expansion stays); losing Expansion removes them.
